How to Report

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in ATEM, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Report the vulnerability by emailing capitalroboticsvt@gmail.com with the subject line “Security Vulnerability Report: [Your Name/Organization]”.
  2. Include Details: Provide a detailed description of the vulnerability, including:
  • Steps to reproduce the issue.
  • Any code, logs, or screenshots that illustrate the problem.
  • Your suggested severity level of the vulnerability.
  1. Avoid Public Disclosure: Please do not publicly disclose the vulnerability until we have addressed it or provided further guidance.

What to Expect

  1. Acknowledgment: You will receive an acknowledgment email within 48 hours of your report.
  2. Assessment: We will investigate the vulnerability and provide updates on the progress within 7 business days.
  3. Resolution:
  • If the vulnerability is confirmed, we will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
  • You will be notified once the fix is implemented, and the updated version is released.
  • Credit for the discovery (if desired) will be mentioned in release notes.

Declined Reports

If the vulnerability is not accepted (e.g., it’s deemed out of scope or not a security risk), we will provide you with a clear explanation of our decision.
