In splitscreen mode, when I use window.open(url,'_blank'), Edge does not open the url in a new tab. It opens within the split tab.

Edge: Version 143.0.3650.96 (Official build) (64-bit)

• Use split screen mode
• In one of the panes, open dev tools and in console write 'window.open(url,'_blank')' and hit enter.
• The url gets opened in the same split pane/ opposite pane. But the intention is to open in a new tab since we have specified target as '_blank'
