dynamic material you accent color is not consistent in some occasions:

• button to unhide tab bar

• contextual tab and options menu

• tab view when "bottom sheet tab view" option is enabled

• also the url bar assumes the color of the container the tab is in which is intended behavior, but I think there should be an option to instead follow material you accent color always

Is it possible that you describe the issue more in detail? I understand the issue here

essentially the ui elements listed above don't follow the coloring dictated by material you (mine is purple for example), instead they always have that blueish coloring. I had also missed the loading bar

Last point refers to how the addres bar gets the color of the container the tab is in

On my side this is consistent, what Android version do you use? Please also update to the latest alpha.

I'm on Los 22.2 (android 15) and weblibre was 0.9.30 from f-droid

updating to alpha seems to have mostly solved the issue except for some very minor minor extension installing dialogues

So the only thing left is the feature request of being able to keep the address bar with the material you accent color instead of getting the clntainer color

Update:
The issue wasn't with the app version, it just needed to get its cache cleared. I tried both with 0.9.30 and the latest alpha, some ui elements sometimes get stuck in the wrong accent color whem system accent color changes, needing a cache clear to restore it to the right one

Update 2:
the cause of this issue seems to not be necessarily the system switching accent color, sometimes it happens also when just closing the browser and then openig it after a bit. I'm not able to precisely pinpoint what could be causing this, but a cache clear always seems to fix it

Glad you fixed it! When you enter the hamburger menu and tap on the "Default" user you get the option to quit the browser. That will completely exit the app and upon start the updated color scheme should be loaded. For the extension bottom sheet, we borrow that from the Mozilla components.

Is there still something open or can we close the issue?

Clearing cache or exiting the browser like you suggested I feel is only a workaround, if I treat it like a normal app and just close it normally the issue/bug does come back most of the time I reopen the app. As said before I haven't been able to pinpoint what actually causes this to happen (changing material you accent color is not the only thing that makes it happen) and I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing this issue but if you have some suggestions to try debug this I feel like it should be looked into

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the issue on my devices and so far no one else has reported it. So I assume this is device specific. Do you use the default LOS color patterns? material-foundation/flutter-packages#627 might be related to this issue.

that's unfortunate, maybe it is device specific. I'll check if updating to LOS 23 makes any difference
